A Very Booky Christmas.......

Much to my delight I had a lot of books as gifts for Christmas....
The last book of Maeve Binchys short stories.....a collection which she had written and stuffed in drawers for some day "just in case".......her husband found them after her death and had her editors shape them up and these will probably be the final words of hers in print....I now own all her books....!
The other one that is not a Cook book is the story of someone (Chris Hadfield).....who is fast becoming one of my favourite people on the planet.....S had this book signed by him, for me, on the day she met him at his book-signing......to my great regret I wasn't able to go with her on the day!!!!!
and the others....additions to my ever-growing collection of Cookery Books....
we'll say no more...................!
