Take off!

We took a couple of clear shots of this little fellow as he perched on the branch.  This one has some movement but he couldn't take off without moving could he?  One foot had already left the branch.  The seed below was just too tempting!

We planned to have a walk round the lake today but had forgotten how icy the wind can be when it whips uninterrupted across the water.  We turned back for the shelter of the lane!
