Galvanised

I was on my way down to the local Thai restaurant for some "takeaway". The local telephone exchange (such as things are, these days) is surrounded by this galvanised steel fence. Obsessed with dof doodling (as I currently am) I couldn't resist this shot although I may be overdoing things a trifle. The in-focus zone does not even extend all the way from the edge of this post to the front - a distance of no more than two centimetres. Oh well, one of my guiding principles has always been, "There is no such thing as excess".
