St Mary's Mourea

The photo I wanted to take yesterday.

Near the banks of the Ohau Channel, which joins Lake Rotoiti and Lake Rotorua, this is a lovely little church from the outside.

It has recently been done up and according to the information on the outside, holds service on Christmas Day.

Tried to google how old it is, to no avail, so will have to do some good old fashioned research at the library.

Accident had happened just before I go home, not far from home, so traffic was slow coming back in from blipping.
