Fish 'n' Chip Jumper

A couple of weeks ago a lady came into our knitting club with several copies of a pattern and asked if anyone would like to knit it. The blurb on the pattern is "Newborn babies, many suffering from AIDS, are being called Fish 'n' Chip babies because many are sent home from hospital wrapped in newspaper for warmth....In order to assist these tiny babies we are asking you to knit a small jumper.....Only use double knitting, no pink, blue, white or pastel colours please as these garments may never be washed..."
