Mr.Blue Sky
One of my favourite tracks on one of my favourite type of days.
Snow with sun.
I had a little trip over the glen to visit my wee cousin to see how she was doing after loosing her Mum.
E was of course amazing, strong and full of wonderful memories about her very strong, capable Mother, who made all of us that wee bit more confident in our own skin. She was a compassionate Aunt when needed, but you definitely knew when she disagreed with you and unfortunately she was usually right. She was strong, loving and her husband's right hand. Her bird identification was scarily fast and accurate, making me stand in awe with mouth open long after the UFO (unidentifiable feathered object) had flown into the next county. I know that she and my Uncle leave a massive hole in the Scottish Ornithology world and also in the family. We were just lucky to have shared part of them for so long.
I don't know who was helping whom today, but I was glad to be there with my only wee cousin..
I hope we can get together more frequently as you give great hugs E, and not just physically!
Much love,
As aye
