Apart from the honking red Merc noted by TFP (and I think it's important that it was a bright red Merc and not, say, a Ford Focus) the only notable event was the slight slipperiness of the roads. And roads that are likely to also be untreated tomorrow. So, the tractor is prepped with its spiky tyres and homemade saddle bag for a slow but upright trundle to work.

The beered laptop is back in action. Nearly a week off power, three days open and drying and the most accessible of the stickiness cleaned off. The track pad has some residual resistance to clicking and might need opened and dismantled.
