How to save a life

Today we provided First Aid Training for 10 of our leaders and backups.  It was a long day with a lot to take in, but the training was very specifically targeted for walkers on the hills and moors.

We all took turns to rescuscitate the dummies; you can see what great care Miranda and Lil are taking to listen for breathing. 

Tonight it started to snow. At the Photo Club a good number still gathered but the judge did not arrive. We were sure she must be stuck in the snow somewhere between County Durham and Hexham - but she had the wrong date in her diary.........
