There was a light on behind the locked door but no-one was answering the phone, which eventually rang out to a "this number is no longer in use" message, despite assurances from 101 earlier in the day that it would be open later in the evening and assurances from 101 whilst outside the locked station that there was someone there. I eventually gave up and trundled up to Gayfield Square, where my queries were eventually partially answered.
