Old Man of Coniston

There used to be mineworks up high
No longer - they've all gone (goodbye!)
It's quite steep and quite tiring;
I think that this wiring
Was for helping the rocks to get by.

Bit of a duff limerick, but a great walk up Coniston Old Man on a lovely sunny day.
