Snow Clouds

When I set off this morning the side roads were icy but the main ones clear. As I drove on the snow started to fall. About half a mile from the bridge we ground to a halt. Then it began to snow heavily the rush hour slithered along at a snail's pace. 45 freeking minutes to do one and a half miles.

When I got to the office (well after 9) the place was deserted. All roads, north, east and west were held up. Honest to goodness...a few cms of snow... How do other countries cope?

Pity help us if the forecasters are correct and it does chuck it down!

Mind you, I am working from home tomorrow so I shall be safe and snug
