After the storm

Appt. at the much maligned Hinchingbrooke hospital this afternoon for review of my broken finger. The place is in 'special measures' and the private management company (Circle) have pulled out. I'm sure it's purely coincidence, but my treatment has been crap (as I've previously ranted about on here before). Saw yet another consultant today who immediately offered me a consultation with a plastic surgeon for reconstructive surgery, when he saw the minimal movement/grip I now have in the finger and the ridiculous angle at which it has 'healed'.
Whether I can be bothered to go back to square one with no guarantees of success remains to be seen...
It absolutely ****** down with hail etc...as I tried to snatch a blip on the way home. It cleared the market place of life and summed up the prevailing mood nicely!
