Pompom tree
I've seen these hydrangea in the Prince of Wales park in Bingley for a while now and have been meaning to snap them on a slow blip day. Well today was a slow blip day - busy and cold but hopefully we'll wake up to a nice dusting of snow tomorrow, I'm working from home so the plan is to have a pretty Chino walk followed by a cosy work day in comfort.
Love how the flowerheads have retained their colour even though the leaves have all gone, but you can see the new shoots coming - hurrah!
It does look like a pompom tree don't you think?
