Early sunshine and afternoon sleet.

With sleet and falling temperatures forecast for late afternoon and early evening, it was good to be able to enjoy some bright sunshine in the first half of the day.

Snow is forecast for tomorrow and the schools are warning about closure. College will, of course, stay open come what may.....but it may have a younger student visiting for the day!
(On the other hand, it will probably be a lot of worry about nothing. As per my New Year mantra "What ever!..."
