Day 16 - Tough Day!
After his unplanned foray into the forest yesterday Russ' confidence wasn't running high this morning. I suspect he was also tired and battered from the previous day in general. But with the usual determination he set off for another day of trying to find the feeling all skiers love, the freedom. Unfortunately it didn't go so well today, in fact yesterday was a much more positive experience. He must have hit the ground a hundred times today, usually pretty hard. His helmet is dented all over, but he seems to have avoided injury. Thankfully.
He came off the mountain feeling totally deflated which wasn't good to see. But we were all amazed by his persistence in the face of so many falls. He really is a very determined chap, and I'm sure he will find the freedom he seeks soon. I hope I'm there to see it, and capture it.
I'm pleased to have captured this shot which shows he can do it, it's just an off day, we all have them. Every day skiing is a good day, eh Russ?
