Sunrise?

I was up and out in the dark this morning to try to capture the sun rising which, despite all my other early starts, I haven't ever got up to see from my local hill. 

The forecast said full sun first thing.

I set off with the stars.  It started raining on the hill.  There was thick cloud cover over Leeds and further west (right where the sun was due to emerge.)  There was no big red sunrise.  It snowed on the way down. 

That’s Yorkshire for you.  I loved it!

I’ve had a lovely catch up in Saltaire with a good friend but now it’s work time.
