Dash Board

As I sat in my car waiting for the windscreen to defrost on a cold dank morning I found myself looking at the dash board of my car. When did it become this complicated, I have more controls to hand in my now easier to drive and operate car than one can imagine, a button for this, a switch for that. Thinking back no more than 30 years my car had a handful of essentials, a choke, a manual hand brake and if I was lucky a radio.
