Bike to Work Day

It was cold and rainy this morning, so we decided to have our pickleball session indoors at the Y. On my way there, I took a small detour to one of the 30 Celebration Stations for the 15th annual Bike to Work Day, organized by everybodyBIKE. Cyclists were rewarded with free refreshments, gifts, stickers. and a chance to enter a drawing for many prizes. It appeared to be a very popular event.

everybodyBIKE is a great organization. I'll sign up for their classes if I ever get up enough courage to ride a bicycle again.

After lunch I helped Cynthia and our landscape gardener with planting and spreading cedar bark mulch in the front garden. You can see the result in C's blip.
