Meeting Santa
Today we headed to rugby as normal - but after rugby instead of heading out for brunch, we head home to get changed into our Christmas Jumpers - as we were heading out to meet Santa at the local national trust property.
CJ behaved perfectly, sitting near Santa and answering all his questions - he was very curious about the man in the red suit. I think he's catching on to the idea that if he talks to Santa, then there might be a little gift at the end.
After visiting Santa, CJ sat and wrote a reminder letter to Santa and posted it to him. We then stopped for a quick coffee before heading off for a walk around the property - although two sleeping kids and the threat of rain cut our walk short.
So we headed home for a quiet afternoon. CJ sending most of the time playing with this tree train - a game that received an added step when CJ opened a train whistle from his nz advent calendar. Now each time he starts the train he calls "all aboard", blows the whistle and then starts the train.
