Walking the corridors of power..

Feast your eyes on the quite magnificent main hall at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.

I'm here today on a legal matter, one which will soon be decided. I have nothing but admiration for the legal profession - upholding and defending the very important laws and principles under which we are governed.

This hall was once the ancient seat of the Scottish Parliament. Now it houses the advocates and QCs, who have a tradition of pacing the great hall whilst conducting their legal chat. Practically, it prevents eavesdropping but theatrically, it looks very impressive.
