Monday's been a bit of a Monday and I still haven't started my tea so the planned chicken is back in the fridge and a bowl of cereal and fruit will tide me over till bedtime. 

Was going to say I don't really know where the time went but driving home from work in the weather took longer, then some mail needed dealing with, then I started writing tomorrow's blog and somehow got distracted by youtube...man alive you can get lost for hours there! 

Lastly an electrician rang and we booked my ceiling light fitting for Friday afternoon. I thought it best to be honest and tell him the previous one went bang hence me needing a new one and that I'd made a start removing the old one and so I know that the new wires are all different colours to the old ones. "Oh", he said, "we call those 'Saturday morning jobs' in the trade." "No," I said, "it won't take a whole morning, should be done within an hour I'd have thought."

Turns out he wasn't trying to con me into paying for a whole morning's work but that it sounded like the sort of thing people try and do on a Friday night after work and get wrong! He wasn't far off the truth bless him. I've used the rated people site and hopefully he's as efficient as his reviews sound. I'm sure you'll know if he isn't!
