Red Squirrels on Gillies Hill

This notice has appeared at the entrance to the woods on Gillies Hill, further evidence of the hill's importance as a habitat for various endangered animals. I did in fact see a squirrel last week and will go on the website soon to record this sighting. 
This is also of course another reminder of  what will be lost if quarrying is reactivated
