WHERE THE WIND BLOWS

well, I know it blowed very hard around the block.
After lunch I walked towards the pond and along the big trees and I kept my eye and ears upon them. Not funny if a branch or a whole tree would come down. Near our flat a lot of high trees are the victims now. Perhaps a year ago or more the verdict had been spoken, you all have to cut down.
It hurts to see the huge giants cut into pieces. Will there be new ones planted? I hope so, at so many places a void appears.
At the pond it was busy with geese, swans, ducks of course and gulls.
I stayed there, even sat down on the shore, I like to be at eye hight with them. A goose starts biting on my shoelace, it is obvious that it tasts not good at all.
It is the first free day now, after Mischa's move. I could not resist to perform two small tasks however, felt good and even better knowing that I could rest after that.

My haiku:

Geese do differ a lot
From the swans, they are curious
All the time and more

And the quote by John Gay in his Fables:

Those who in quarrels interpose,
Must often wipe a bloody nose.
