What Not To Say in a Job Interview

I had a job interview today. I feel I answered all the questions amazingly except first and second.

1st q: why do you want this job?
Me: in the future I really want to work in the charity sector. I know the skills the charity sector wants so this job would enable me to develop skills which will be valuable in that job.

Last q: if we offered you the job would you take it?
Me: I have another job that I applied for that I really want. If I don't get that I'd love to come and work here.

I'm fundraising money for LEPRA a charity that provides medicines to people left I'll by poverty. They help treat illnesses such as leprosy, malaria, TB, etc. they also help rehabilitate people left disabled by illnesses.
