Memory Lane

This street should be called memory lane... that's what it is to me...

Many teenage years spent hanging around here with friends,,, there was never much else to do in our little town....
I also met my husband on this street as a young teenage girl....

As an older teenager, many a pub crawl took place on this street... it used to be a hive of activity but now it's a bit of a ghost town..... the smoking ban put the final nail in the coffin for a lot of businesses around here...

it looks a bit dismal here, and to be honest it is...... but it's home.... there's been a lot of laughs had and sorrows shared on this street, and also quite a few life time bonds formed here.....

This is North High Street, Musselburgh.... a special place to me....
