The Icon of Paris

This much zoomed in shot is taken near my hotel. The tower is nearly 2 miles away (you can't see the lower part of the tower in this shot).   We did walk there late afternoon.  It is bitterly cold here today and so much colder than Bordeaux.  A couple of different angles on flickr.
