A Peep through the Trees

Today we drove to Alexandra, and walked upstream on the true right of the Clutha River ending our walk at Clyde.  It was a very hot day, and the 22 of us enjoyed walking in the shade of the cool willow trees.  A nice drink or ice cream was just the ticket at the end of the walk.  We stopped at the orchard at Cromwell, and came home with beautiful fresh fruit from the road side stall.  All in all a perfect day.
