Complementary Sky

I was sitting on the bus, worn out from the volunteer event I just attended. Bringing joy to our soldiers' families' lives was fulfilling, but all I wanted to do was listen to music during the ride home. Fortunately, I got a window seat -- I could watch the sun set behind some trees and buildings over the freeway. But what happened was nothing I ever expected or ever saw before: the skies split into orange and blue, divided by a faint blanket of clouds. Next to volunteering, this was the best highlight of the day. I hope to see this again one day.
