Nose Hill Park on a Sunny Sunday afternoon

It was another beautiful day despite the cold, with warming sun and blue blue sky. 
Nose Hill Park in Calgary represents that natural state of the countryside here on the foothills at the edge of the rockies where they meet true prairie. It is essentially grassland with almost no trees except in sheltered crevices such as this creek where there is water and less exposure to the elements.
