Lovely time at Snells Beach this lunch time. Fish and chips courtesy of tsuken. Swimming at high tide on the flats. Boogie boards for the kids. When tsuken joined them in the water, he was persuaded (or conned) into acting as their speedboat.

Tomorrow the whole family will be here.

On my run this morning I heard and then saw a spotted turtle dove; I got a reasonable photo of it given the low light at that time of the morning. Bird Nø 27 for this year.
