Talons And Lace

It was another foggy, grey, misty/rainy day here but of course nothing deters an eagle.  I just love the contrast of the delicate tree branches encircling  this powerful creature. 

We have it on good authority that eagles are now feeding along the shorelines and I thought I might get out and see if I could chance upon such an event but in the end I opted for lunch with my grandson and daughter instead.  Yes, I know -- I took the easy way out, but I don't get all that many chances to see my grandson so I pounced on that opportunity.     Hopefully, the eagles still be dining at the seashore next weekend and I can get them then.
