Waiting for Stormy Seas

While waiting for the full tide I took a number of long exposure shots. Just as well as the storm force winds obviously called a time out and never arrived with the full tide.

I marvel at people swimming at this time of the year in the open sea but those who do on a daily basis seem to love it. I managed a few photos as they made their way to shore this morning.

I got a pleasant surprise today when I looked closely at some shots of the RNLI Atlantic 85 returning to shore after a training run as it turned out it was the first time at the helm for a friend and now he has a record of it on camera. I posted it to his Facebook page and it was lovely to see the pride of his girlfriend as well his mother along with his delighted friends....just saying
