Final frame

This is the last photo of our stately old lady. At the ripe old age of 16 years and 9 months, Mabel came to the end of the long road we have shared. She has been really suffering since the start of the year and, having tried everything we could to make things better, we ran out of options.

A sad visit to the vet and an empty basket on the way home is not a fun way to spend the afternoon but at least Mabel is not suffering any more.
