I've started....

My wonderful mother in law got me a teach yourself crochet book for Xmas. I've got some basics but turning had me baffled!!!

I seeked some advice from one of the dance mums yesterday and thought I'd cracked it, however today's attempts shown here show I haven't!!! 

I will try again but it maybe something that eludes me and I will have yo take up knitting again!!!
