Fight!

These two swans had a vicious fight on the lake this morning before one managed to extricate himself from the other's beak and fly off.  As soon as the winner was left alone he stood triumphant on the water, stretching his neck into the sky.  For a while, the escapee headed directly towards us.  Consequently, it was one of those occasions where we found it difficult to decide on the shot to post as today's blip.

Happily, father and son repaired the shed.  The girls weren't impressed by Granddad climbing on the shed roof.  ("You're too old for that Granddad!")  Nor were they impressed by his blue overall -  (Granddad's Onesie!).  Job done now and we will all be impressed if it lasts another 10 years!
