An Unexpected Journey

An impromptu trip into Durham for Annie, mummy and daddy because Jack is spending the day with his friend Elliott. She spent some of her Christmas vouchers. In the bookshop. Where else?!

I think I've blipped this installation before. It's a representation of the monks carrying St Cuthbert's coffin on it's journey to Durham in 995. The children always like to peep between the figures.
