Morning light and changing weather

Yesterday was a very sad day as the torrential rain of Friday night and warm temperatures thawed the snow till the pistes went grey with water and the village resort closed. The work of making and transporting snow for the downhill and cross-country pistes has been admirable over the past few months and kept the resort in business over the busy holiday period.
We too have come to the end of our holiday and said goodbye to Mum this morning so it's back to work tomorrow. The weather closed in for the rest of the day as snow fell lightly and blew around in the strong winds.
