Owls Day 7

This little guy bears a slightly surprised expression. He is a glove puppet, and his destined home is Matsumoto, Japan c/o grandson number 5 - Ceilidh Michael.
The bemused expression might be explained by the fact that, for photographic purposes, he is temporarily impaled on a staircase newel post!
It's tough being a photographer's model!
