Wet Faeries

I made the mistake of trying to work outside today. Started to do some painting around my mother's front door and it started to mist up before turning to a steady drizzle that kept up for the rest of the day.

Instead, I went to the DIY store for some wood and fixings but couldn't get started on that job either.

As a last resort, I went round the garden photographing the wet flowers and this solitary weed that escaped my attentions earlier in the week. Their fairy wings are all wet and collapsed like an inside-out umbrella.
