Dodging the snow flakes

It was my first Night Photography Workshop of the year this evening and as the attendee had come over from Ireland especially for the session we didn't let the rain, sleet and snow stop us from taking photos, in fact it gave me a chance to show how you can take extremely long exposure images in wet weather and not have water spots all over the photo. 

I do enjoy this particular spot at the end of Princes Street as you can include a couple of the Edinburgh landmarks and guarantee a steady flow of lights coming across the shot so I thought I would try a more quirky angle than usual.
