New guards

Yes, I've hopefully put the days of wet feet behind me with nice super-long mudguards on the bike. I had mudguards already. Nice brown ones but not long enough and my feet were regularly getting a good soaking from spray. These things are absurdly long - the rubber flappy bit at the bottom is about 2 inches from the ground so I'll maybe be hacking some of the mudguard back if I find that getting caught on speed humps or any small dogs or children I happen to run over.

In other news, yesterday's bit of writing on the train was published in The Guardian, which is pretty exciting.
