Vanilla and Ice

What a long week at school! I'm glad it's the weekend, and it's an even better Friday since it's pay day. I have almost got enough money saved to pay for my half of the trip to Kenya, woo! Once that is paid, it will just be saving for new camera gear and trips around and about (such as London at the end of August!)

I walked from home up to Medburn this evening and then to the yard to see Vanilla and the foal, Ice. I couldn't be bothered to keep Inca out of the water and so she got a good old run around through the little stream in one of the fields. She's now flat out asleep (has been since we got home). I think I sat in the stable for about twenty minutes. It was very hard because the lighting isn't ideal (far from it) but I tried to salvage a few for use as a daily photo.
