Baby Showering

A stunning, perfect day in Auckland. My day started with the windows and doors wide open - the heat and breeze blowing through as chores were happily done. Then I had a baby shower high tea for my beautiful work friend Emily. After several frighteningly detailed birthing stories, some cute baby presents and finger food I headed out to Takapuna beach. An afternoon of walking on the beach in mid-summer heat, a swim in the sea with Rangitoto on the horizon, some fun, clever, interesting conversation and dinner - pretty perfect Sunday altogether!
