Big Boy

Monny is growing up and he has 6 or 7 siblings all chomping away on the plants alongside him.

Funnily enough they seem to be avoiding the growing tip of the plant, but they are stripping the leaves rapidly.  I am hopeful we will have enough food to see them all through.

I reckon he is into the 4th instar of his life, with only one to go before he decides to pupate.  I'm told the caterpillars can travel quite a distance looking for the proper place to hang upside down - I just hope I can find him when he does go on the move.

Thanks for all your kind wishes yesterday.  Today I don't feel so good, and my mouth looks likes it's done 3 rounds with Mohammad Ali.  Another good night of sleep and hopefully all will be well again.
