Den Haag

We made the most of the bank holiday by going to visit friends in Holland. The weather was nice enough for a trip to the seaside and we went to Scheveningen where the children had fun trampolining and playing frisbee on the beach. Meanwhile we did the traditional Dutch thing and had a beer and a plate of bitterballen (deep fried meatballs covered in crispy breadcrumbs) followed by a coffee. Well, when in Rome! Later we drove into the centre of The Hague where I took this pic.
