Otago Harbour...

... from Rotary Park looking out to open south Pacific sea past Port Chalmers (left), Quarantine & Goat Islands (centre right) and Aramoana (far right).  Shipping channel and mudflats just beginning to show on an ebbing tide.  Very sultry morning but promised cool change started to arrive late morning and the possibility of rain is heartening.  So far this year the Otago region has had only 1mm of rain - the average being 82mm!
