American Kestrel

This bird that was once called a Sparrow Hawk is the most common falcon in North America.  I didn't have much time today so this was a quick photo from the road side and he was really far away.  I was at full zoom without a tripod so I'm pleased to have gotten the detail that I did but, of course, I wish it was sharper. :-)
