I was up at Riccarton this afternoon with the planner of an orienteering event I'm controlling. The event is in 3 weeks and we wanted to check control sites and see that there were no surprises. We had been told that we couldn't use one area due to building work and that was fine. However today, in a different part of the campus, near the start for the first race we found new work and fences. Mark will have to re plan; a real pain. We sat out a big snow shower and I was intrigued by the tyre tracks afterwards. It seems like there were 2 cars one heading left and one right; but also one straight on as well.
