Ooops - we didn't get this posted yesterday but we got home late from Auntie Wendy's and SHE wasn't feeling all that flash, to be honest.
As always on a Saturday they were out for a huge chunk of the day, and when they came home in the afternoon, she said we could go for a w.a.l.k.
So we did.
And it was really good - I was full of beans because I'd been cooped up and we were walking at a cracking pace.
On the way home, we did slow down a bit, and we was nearly home, and - woosh. She tripped over on the path, where it is really uneven because the tree roots have made it go all wavy and upsy-downsy.
I was really worried, and I did run up to her and gave her face a lick, and then I sat down, because she wasn't going anywhere in a hurry. I think she groaned a bit.
Luckily, a really nice man and his daughter stopped their car and helped her - and gave her tissues to wipe the blood (yes, friends there was blood), and bundled her and me into the car, and drove us back home.
You would have been so proud of me! Yes, you would, because I didn't growl or bark at the nice man. And I got in the car like the good little dog I am.
Then she laid down for an hour and a half - and we went to Aunty Wendy's for dinner which was a very good thing - but she couldn't eat very well because he mouth is all bruised and swollen.
Thank you ever so much for your lovely comments on by 300 blip birthday - we haven't replied to any yet for obvious reasons, but we've read them all, and it was lovely.
