One armed bandit

Today was just as wintry and blustery as the forecasters had promised and while I tried to time the walk to miss the worst showers, I failed miserably. The icy sleet came at me sideways and despite being well wrapped up, complete with snood over my nose and mouth, the pain on my exposed forehead was severe! The dogs however were completely impervious and had a wonderful romp.

Once home and dried out I took a few of the well loved doggy toys, all casualties of the dogs' love of playing tug of war, and did some emergency surgery on them. I wonder how long they will last.
